Jibsnout was a competent searat in Raga Bol's crew, and carried a dagger and scimitar. He was sent with Wirga's sons to ambush the badger Lonna Bowstripe but failed miserably, losing the three sons and receiving an injury to the footpaw from Lonna, who spared him on the condition that he tell Raga Bol that they were all doomed. Having received that news, Bol killed Jibsnout to keep the rest of the crew from knowing that Lonna was alive and coming after them.
