The Dark Destiny series was a fanfiction series that takes place twenty five years after Return of the Jedi and creates an Alternate Universe "What If" scenario, the Death Star II was not destroyed but Darth Vader was killed when he attempted to kill Palpatine as he was electrocuting Luke Skywalker by Darth Ukata, Luke Skywalker escapes the Death Star and Palpatine decides to a peace treaty with the Rebellion in hopes that he can end the fighting to allow the Empire to rebuild its strength.
