Jamie Reed was a member of the Gaffney Town Council. When the "Peachoid Incident" arose, Reed worried about maintaining good relations with the peach farmers. Frank Underwood ordered Reed to put up signs saying "DRIVE SAFELY, NO TEXTING BEHIND THE WHEEL" alongside the highway that ran by the Peachoid. (Chapter 3)
