Liam Neeson is a cranky old geomancer who lives with his wife in the Magicracy of Alent. He tends to hold a grudge for a long time and isn't afraid to speak his mind openly, particularly those he considers 'young whippersnappers'. Liam caused all sort of trouble by manipulating the stairs of a back alley in Alent during a clash which involved Refan d'Zarnagon, ultimately shifting the very ground itself to make Refan trip and get caught along with others by Charles Dance's squad of Anti Mage Police. He was the first one to notice the arrival of the Northern Horde during the Battle of Alent while on watch duty.
