Bruvia was a Mid Rim world allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. In 20 BBY, the Republic invaded Bruvia, attempting to assassinate Poggle the Lesser, who was stationed on Bruvia at the time, thus starting the Battle of Bruvia, which was regarded as one of the CIS's worst losses of the war.
