Russell MacDonald was a Scottish-American Seaman assigned to the U.S.S. Foster. He grew up in a Catholic faith. His late father, born in Scotland, served in Black Watch Regiment. At some point, he began playing an MMORPG with his alter-ego being the half-elf warrior named Weylin. Over time, his obsession with the game became so powerful that due to his addiction to the game, the lines between fantasy from reality became blurred for him and to prove that he was an immortal, he put on chains and attempted to walk on water but the chains caused him to sink and he drowned.
