The New Crimson Empire was a government formed by Ruslana Solo in 188 ABY, following the death of Emperor Suvorov Palpatine of the New Dark Empire. After his death, many officers created their own splinter governments and became warlords. Ruslana Solo, Suvorov's apprentice and the rightful heir, created the New Crimson Empire as the rightful government. It warred the warlords and the Alliance to Restore the Federation (a rebel group that aimed at restoring the Galactic Federation Triumvirate) for about a year. Suvorov then returned on Byss in a new clone body, and took command. It fell apart after his final death and the death of Ruslana.
