The Culprits were a secret organization that set out to conquer the galaxy by setting it into confusion. They articulated their plan for domination shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, and were the leading catalyst in the starting of the conflict. They manipulated both sides of the war to benefit themselves, while trying to remain unseen. However, word leaked out about the identity of one of the members, but it was too late to stop the Culprits. Through the conflict, they were able to set up the first Galactic Domain. The one known member of the organization was Darth Sidious.
