Ray Erickson (April 15, 1918 - November 28, 2002) was a NASCAR driver from Chicago, IL. He competed in twelve Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning three top-tens. Erickson made his debut in NASCAR's inaugural season, competing in four 1949 events in route to a fantastic 7th place finish in points. Erickson made a quick splash in the series, barely losing to Jack White at Hamburg Speedway in Erickson's series debut. He followed that up with a 3rd place finish at Martinsville, a midpack 15th at Pittsburgh and a solid 7th at North Wilkesboro.
