Christine Shaw (2nd March 1923 - 17th August 2003) appeared on Coronation Street as the Day nurse in charge of the hospital ward to which Ena Sharples was admitted in December 1960. A long career as a jobbing actor included a recurring role as Beryl in Don't Drink the Water.
