The Battle of Taxus III was a battle the took place in 3 ABY between the Imperial Legionnaires, the Black Sun, and the Rebel Alliance. The battle took place on the world of Taxus III. In the battle, the Imperial Legionnaires raided the Black Sun nova crystal store house. As the battle concluded, the Rebels arrived and intended to do the same thing. The Black Sun and Legionnaires allied against the Rebels and drove them back, but afterwards the Legionnaires backstabbed the Black Sun, killing or capturing any surviving troops. The Legionnaires kept the nova crystals and the store house. Meanwhile, the lose of the battle to the Rebels was devastating, and the casualties the Rebels took allowed the nearby Imperial Navy fleet to destroy any surviving Rebel troops and take back the system.
