A Federation Galaxy-class starship has four cetacean lifeboats for the whales and dolphins that live and work aboard ship. Due to their size, they take up space on decks 13 and 14 between the cetacean living quarters. Once occupied in an emergency, a deployment track on deck 13 moves them to ejection points on deck 14.
