Bensu was the bartender of the main lounge of the USS Eagle nicknamed The Nest. He joined the ship in late 2373. A male of average height, dark skin and a bald head covered with white bony ridges, Bensu’s exact origins were not known to most of the crew. His arrival on Eagle shortly before the outbreak of the Dominion War prompted some to speculate that he might be a Dominion spy. He was also one of the only civilians remaining on the ship during the conflict. Vulcan science officer Xylion, apparently a long time friend, vouched for Bensu and his presence was generally accepted by the crew.
