The Swiftbuck was the ship of the pirate Carlton Collins. It is 100 feet from bow to stern, originally called The Atheneum and was taken into Boston to bring Captain Carlton to trial. Later, it was given to a young pirate hunter as their first command. William Lubber asked the ship's carpenters to make a model of The Swiftbuck so that magistrate Samuel Shute could identify her.
