The Communications Secretariat is the Interstellar Dominion executive agency responsible for the maintenance and further development of the Interstellar Datalink Matrix among other communications-oriented objectives. Its primary stated mission is to protect free and open communication and information flow on the Datalink Matrix. It also produces official government propaganda, investigates particularly disruptive activity on the Matrix, and attempts to monitor the Datajack Collective.
