The blood talisman, and thus blood runecrafting, was released on 22 April 2008 as a reward from the Legacy of Seergaze quest. The blood talisman can be used on the wicked hood, giving the hood two free teleports to the blood altar, and 5 free blood runes every day. This will consume the talisman.
