The Kavardi was founded several millennia prior to the birth of the Galactic Empire. It was one of the "middle-class" kajidics. Despite their relative wealth, they found themselves in constant conflict with one of the poorer clans, the Antivic kajidic. Their squabble with the Antivic escalated in 120 BBY. The conflict killed several important members of both the Kavardi, among them Toggo Kavardi, the clan's leader. The conflict eventually ended, and the Antivics were forced from Nal Hutta.
