The Salish Sea is a complex body of coastal waterways and inlets in British Columbia and Washington. It includes the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Strait of Georgia, Puget Sound, Desolation Sound, Hood Canal, Bellingham Bay, and the waters and straits surrounding the San Juan Islands, among others. Major cities that sit on the Salish Sea include Vancouver, Seattle, Victoria, Tacoma, Bellingham, Everett, and Olympia.
