Ardenjost has approximately 28 million inhabitants. The population is dense near bodies of water, quite sparse otherwise. The Itemmasses populated much of the area until 800 CE. Saimo-Savonian tribes, that became dominant after that, assimilated the Itemmasse people to their society. The Empire of Finland conquered a part of Ardenjost for a short time, which has left a Finnish minority to the country.
