Mire-Clams were parasitic bivalves found in the Mire. They also sometimes formed on sky wrecks. The mire-pearls of the Mire-Clams were expensive and often decorated the purses of rich people in the Third Age of Flight. Mire Pearlers like Merton Hoist harvested and sold them.
