Vykin the Black was among the New Gods who fled New Genesis thanks to Forager. Prior to this, Vykin's appearance was used as a Halloween costume by an attendee of Harv Hickman's Halloween party; it's unrevealed how said attendee became aware of Vykin, though it's possible Vykin was part of the New Genesis force in 'Apokolips...Now!'
