Canadian Cup is a Canadian stock car series. It is considered a professional league of stock car racing, and one step down from the major league, Kitty Cup. The series races on tracks as varied as small ovals and as large as Thunder Bay International Speedway during the Daytona Speedweeks. The series will go to racing on a road course in 2015. Salt is the current champion, and has won the series one time so far. He has been racing for almost 30 years but only had one win before the 2008 season and his retirment where he got five wins
