Lee Hijikata (リー=その土死像, Lee of the Earth Paints The Image of Death) is a former resident of South Rukongai. Having survived the bowels of poverty, he was given escape due to his abnormal strength compared to even Shinigami. With the wishes of his friends, he left home and went straight toward the Shinō Academy.
