Star of stage and screen, drag artist Dave Lynn has appeared twice on Coronation Street; firstly as Shirelle, who in September 1996 and as a former act on Alec Gilroy's books, ran Shirelle's nightclub in Rosamund Street and returned to the programme in September 2009 as Our Kelly, compere at the Mr Gay Weatherfield contest held at the Feather Lounge.
