U.S. Route 101 was a major north-south freeway in southern California, one of many servicing the Los Angeles area. Terminating in Downtown Los Angeles at its south end, the 101 crossed Interstate 110 and Interstate 10 on its way north. U.S. 101 passed through the cities of Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, and Camarillo. ("Day 2: 8:00am-9:00am", "Day 4: 6:00am-7:00am") After sighting Zapata at the Staples Center, Jack pursued him to a barranca near the intersection of the 101 and Interstate 110, and ultimately shot and killed him.
