Ulrasbur is a municipality in northwestern part of Kutuf province, Ardenjost. The altitude varies from 758 m to 1601 m MSL, the tallest mountain being Jeskelfjers in the southwestern corner of the municipality. The climate is continental, mean temperature in January being -15.0 C and in July 15.1 C in the urban area and 4.5 degrees colder on the top of Jeskelfjers. Notable feature of the municipality is the genetic makeup of its population, which results in 76 male births for 100 female.
