These three silhouettes function quite similar to extremely steaming murder: when a silhouette phases through an opponent, it apparently evaporates all the water inside their body, leaving them in a mummified state. Upon doing so, the silhouette will disappear and regenerates again at the hilt of Hiroseike. Though, unlike the related technique, Hōsōshi does not control these 'silhouettes' that randomly target hostiles and sometimes allies.
