The Mandingo News Network (or MNN), is the primary news network broadcast throughout the Hurian Federation. It is owned by both the government, and private investors. Currently, 25% of the network is owned by the state, while the other 75% is under public ownership. Due to the government's "hands-off" policy towards new agencies, the MNN is allowed to report whatever it pleases, so long as it is the truth, or does not distort it. It maintains a strictly neutral stance in its reports, taking no side when reporting incidents or crimes. It is headquartered in Nairobi, and receives the bulk of its budget from private investors, while receiving a meager allowance from the government to pay for basic operation costs.
