Mikul Gargus was a scientist and officer in the armada of the Sith Empire who became one of the eleven Grand Admirals appointed by the Sith Emperor in 3,659 BBY. Serving in the navy for much of the Great Galactic War, Gargus was a scientist and engineer who worked on designing new starfighter models and weaponry for ships. However, during an attack on the facility he was at, Gargus barely survived an explosion, taking heavy damage to the lower half of his head, and his lungs. As a result, he constructed a mouthpiece to wear for himself. His achievements in the field of science attracted the attention of the Sith Emperor himself, who selected Gargus to be among the eleven officers promoted to the new rank of Grand Admiral, in 3,659 BBY.
