The goal of an effective be-all end-all immunization substance is still far out of the reach of modern medicine, but that hasn't stopped Ultima's Bioengeneering division from trying. Ultima's VP in charge of medicine has dedicated the bulk of the division's research budget to creating this fabled final vaccination at the expense of rendering the bulk of their medicines obsolete, mainly because it would be disastrous to the company if anyone else were to invent it first, and also due to the increased popularity of the idea of such an omnivaccine.
