Inspired by our local wikis and other community sites around the web, we recently created a Wikia-wide set of community guidelines. We hope these inspire new wiki founders while building up their communities, as well as guide new users as they gain experience on Wikia. These are not all meant to be hard and fast rules (although some do overlap with our Terms of Use), but provide guiding principles for wiki community growth and sustainability. We strongly encourage wikis to create their own specific guidelines and rules that fit their community and topic. Please feel free to share them here for others to see.
