Albrecht Schmidt is a computer scientist best known for his work in ubiquitous computing, pervasive computing, and the tangible user interface. He is an professor at University of Stuttgart where he joined the faculty in 2011. He introduced the term "implicit interaction" to describe the use of context as input to interactive systems.
