The Republic Tarisian Archival Database, was an initiative sponsored by the Galactic Republic by the time of the Cold War. It was a well funded operation on Taris with the intention of finding the world's archives. These were created by the planetary government to preserve their culture and knowledge in the event of a disaster engulfing Taris.
