They first paired for the 1991 comedy Mystery Date, whose cast included one-time Star Trek: Voyager guest star Brian McNamara. The duo have earned Artios nominations from the Casting Society of America (CSA) for their work on the films While You Were Sleeping, The Opposite of Sex, For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story (directed by Joseph Sargent and featuring Fionnula Flanagan), Holes, The Cooler (starring Paul Sorvino), P.S., The Good Shepherd, and Smokin' Aces. Among the actors they worked with in the latter film was Chris Pine, who now plays James T. Kirk in 2009 's Star Trek.
