The Lotus Eaters was a posh nightclub. It was one of several clubs owned by Shanghai-based crimelord, Lao Che, who also owned Club Obi Wan. In 1933, Indiana Jones first met Lao Che and his sons at the club and feigned interest in buying one of the funeral urns on display for a museum to recover the ashes of Wu Han's family.
