"Auntie Em" (or Emily Brown) is a fictional character from the Oz Books by L. Frank Baum. She appears briefly in Beyond the Kingdoms, chapter 12. Dorothy, the main character of the Oz books, lives with her and her husband Uncle Henry in Kansas before she is swept up by a cyclone that takes her the Land of Oz.
