It is Bonfire night but there's no one to supervise the communal bonfire. Norma is devastated to learn Ken is married. She feels she can't take any more humiliation and plans to leave. A spark lands in an open box of fireworks, setting them off and burning Mark Hillkirk. Ken throws water over him and yells for an ambulance to be called.
