Iwaoropenelep (or Iwaopeln in Etrian Odyssey) is a recurring boss of the series, appearing in Etrian Odyssey and its remake as an stratum boss, and on Etrian Odyssey IV as an optional boss. This gargantuan bird, although beautiful, is extremely powerful, having control over volt element. It can also attack with its sharp feathers and its beak, that can petrify those unfortunate enough to be hit by it.
