The 2006 John Deere 200 was a Craftsman Truck Series event held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 17, 2006. Todd Bodine won his first race of the year in thrilling fashion. While Mark Martin went three-wide to get passed two lap cars, Bodine into the pass, making it a four-wide battle. Amazingly all cars drove away (the contact would ultimately blow Timothy Peters' tire) and Bodine won on a green-white-checkered. Martin, however, still held a 25-point championship lead on Bodine.
