Kost is a scavenger and a hoarder, he is a gambler by both nature and necessity given where and how he grew up. His morals are that of someone who was born in the gutter, struggling to survive with nothing but himself and his family, thus civilized concepts of right and wrong are often foreign to Kost. The civil war he grew up in was hard on him but he has a ‘make do’ attitude, always the scavenger making the best of whatever he has. Kost often blends in well in busy cities appearing as one of the crowd, something that has kept him out of a lot of the troubles back home, indeed being a Clawdite able to alter his facial features only enhances this.
