The Lagoon was a community of renegade undersea computer technicians on the planet of Dac. Formed around 19 BBY in opposition to mainstream Mon Calamari society, the group's members delightfully solved problems in an unorthodox manner and challenged social conventions they viewed as stodgy. The Mon Calamari individual Tendaar Bel was active with them instead of attending class at Coral Collegium up until the takeover of Dac by the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY.
