The Hunters were a special group of Nightsisters who wielded energy bows with plasma-generated strings and arrows. During the Clone Wars, the Hunters tracked down and killed enemies of the Nightsisters on the orders of Mother Talzin. Those Sisters included Karis, Naa'leth, and Talia.
