In early 2010 ECRI Institute announced its purchase of the biomed listserv, Biomedtalk-L. It is used to discuss topics related to the Biomedical Technician and Clinical Engineer. Equipment problems, job opportunities, and Joint Commission discussions are only a few of the topics which have been discussed. We have representation from the FDA, AAMI, the Joint Commission, many manufacturers, independent service organizations, in-house departments and students.
