During Story Mode, Chocobo and friends wander to the place and see the chocobo. Pointing out that he had accidentally eaten a shard of Magicite, Mog proposes a race, where if they win, they get the piece of Magicite in Chubby Chocobo's belly. If they lose however, Chubby Chocobo can eat them all.
