Lars says that he and his father ventured through the Crystal Caverns last spring, and, while the creatures within aren't friendly, he says that they "have pretty skins". With the return of the Maljin, Lars wonders if the red fog will last long, noting that everyone seems to feel worse the longer that it's foul stench is present.
