Valerie Hoffman is a former Lucasfilm Editor of Publications and Creative Properties. She was the editor of The Art of The Empire Strikes Back, originally published in 1980.She also edited the Star Wars Monthly magazine, The Ralph McQuarrie Portfolio, and The Art of Star Wars. Her interview material was used in Star Wars Art: Ralph McQuarrie.
