Howard Merrill (March 27, 1916 - April 20, 2002) co-wrote with Stan Dreben two episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. He also wrote episodes of the TV series "I've Got a Secret", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Gilligan's Island", "My Three Sons", "Petticoat Junction", "Get Smart", "Green Acres", "F Troop" and "The Odd Couple".
