"Planets, Moon and Stars" is a song that was written for Sesame Street. The song was originally performed by Elmo as he sings to his doll David from his bedroom. Later, in 1999, Jerry Nelson provided vocals for a CGI-animated version of the segment. (First: Episode 3809) The song was also remade for Happy Healthy Monsters with Grover, Zoe, Elmo and the Kids. Another version of the song, with new lyrics, was performed in One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure.
