Plague sheep are non-player characters, specifically, sheep inflicted with the "plague" of West Ardougne. They are the subject of the Sheep Herder quest, wherein the player must herd them into a slaughterhouse with a cattle prod, poison them and burn the plagued sheep remains in a furnace.
