F. Montealegre was a Costa Rican-born background artist, who worked on Droopy shorts for MGM, and episodes of The Flintstones (starring Alan Reed, Jean Vander Pyl, and Mel Blanc) for Hanna-Barbera. Montealegre died in 1991, at the age of 64.
